DIG Rai Altaf Hussain conducts a police ‘Darbar’ in Okara

Lahore: In order to train the beginner drivers and produce skilled professional drivers with enhance road safety sense, Road Safety Institutes (Drivers Training Schools) of NH&MP are playing a very vital role and their performance should be improved in par with international standards said

While addressing the ‘Police Darbar’ DIG N-5 Central Rai Altaf Hussain said that there is dire need to establish Road Safety Institutes all over Pakistan. These Institutes are necessary for producing drivers with better sense of traffic rules and bringing discipline on our roads said DIG. He further directed that the performance of these institutes should be monitored closely so that maximum desired results may be obtained from them. At the end of ‘Darbar’ proceedings DIG heard the problems of field officers and ensured them that their senior officers would lend them maximum help in resolving them.

Earlier DIG Rai Altaf Hussain also held a meeting with SSP Central-I Okara and all the beat commanders/DSPs of the sector. During the meeting DIG stressed that women police officers should be given due respect, provided appropriate working condition. He asked the beat commanders to concentrate on the violations of Overloading, lane violation and driving without safety helmet.
