Martyrs are national heroes : Aleem Khan

Lahore: Ex-Provincial Minister and Central Leader of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf Abdul Aleem Khan has said that those who sacrificed their lives for this motherland are the national heros and all the national salutes their spirit and reiterate to follow their foot-steps.

While addressing Defence Day function here at The National School, main Burki Road Campus, Abdul Aleem Khan said that on Sept.06, we all should uphold that great mission of defending the geographical boundaries of Pakistan. He said that the new generation should be informed about the history and all national days be celebrated with zeal and furvor. He said that inspite of all the shortcomings, Pakistan has great significance as automic power in the comity of the nations and we all should join hands with the army. He also called upon the students to get modern education to able themselves to the lead the nation.
Ex-Vice Chancellor and Chief Executive of The National School, Lt. Gen.(r) Arshad Mahmood said that in the war of 1965, he as a Capt. took part in the war at Kasur and got “Sitara-e-Jurrat”. Col.(r) Masud-al-Haque said that India tried to attack but Pakistani Military gave a historic response in the minimum time.

On this occasion, students of The National School presented a number of national songs and spoke on the life of Raashid Minhas, Aziz Bhatti and others who gave their live in the war of 1965. National Anthum was also recited.
