CCPO visits Anti Terrorist Court to review security arrangments

CCPO Muhammad Aslam Tareen paid a surprise visit to Anti-Terrorists Court Dharampura, here Saturday, to review security arrangements there. He also held a meeting with Presiding Officers of four Anti-Terrorists Courts of Lahore, Muhammad Rafique, Abdul Rehman, Irfan Saeed and Asif Majeed Awan during which security matters were discussed.

Tareen inspected Bakhshi Khana, Car Parking and Bunkers etc besides checking the gate room, guard room & judicial guards as well as the Special Branch staff deputed there.

Tareen directed the focal person ATA Courts security to get the out of order CCTV cameras repaired immediately and provide separate metal detectors for the female staff. He also directed that Home Department be approached for the provision of generator so as to ensure uninterrupted power supply to CCTV cameras and walk through gates.

SP Legal/Focal Person ATA Courts Ijaz Gillani, SP PC Shahid Mehmood, DSP Nazar Abbas and SHO Mustafabad Sub-Inspector Mumtaz Kakar also accompanied the CCPO during the visit.
