Punjab government is following public service programme: Malik Ahmad Ali

Lahore: Provincial Minister for Agriculture and Irrigation has said that Punjab government is following public service programme, under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, and, by holding open kutcheries, redressal of grievances of citizens is being ensured at the local level, whereas, work on developmental projects is continuing speedily to provide relief to the people.

The Minister expressed these views while talking to media representatives on the occasion of open kutchery at Minar-e-Pakistan Tent Office, here today. Provincial Minister said that lakhs of people are benefiting from holding of open kutcheries which helps in priority based solution to their problems, relating to health, education and other fundamental issues. He said that the quality of life of the masses will improve with the development of infrastructure throughout the province. He said the people had been provided relief during the holy month of Ramzan, due to special steps taken by Punjab government, which provided daily-use items to them at affordable rates.

With reference to dengue, Malik Ahmad Ali said that dengue has been brought under control to a large content, due to effective steps taken by Punjab government during the previous year. He said that anti-dengue campaign is continuing, under a comprehensive strategy, in which all segments of the society are vigorously participating. He said that cleanliness is highly essential in our religion, and asserted that desirable results cannot be achieved without maintaining sanitary conditions.

The Provincial Minister listened complaints of the people on the occasion and ordered relevant departments to solve them expeditiously.
