Anti-dengue committees are distributing pamphlets among citizens

Lahore: Member Provincial Assembly & Chairman Emergency Response Committee, Aziz Bhatti Town, Haji Allah Rakha has said that Anti-dengue Campaign is continuing vigorously in all union councils of the town, while Anti-dengue committees are distributing pamphlets and free health kits by paying door to door visits.

He expressed these views during anti-dengue kits and pamphlets distribution ceremony at Union Council-48 Fiyaz Park, Larex Colony, Dry port, Ganj Bazar and Police Station South Cant, during which staff of concerned departments and notables were present in a large number.

Haji Allah Rakha said that anti-dengue campaign is continuing under a comprehensive strategy, and asserted that keeping environment clean is essential for not providing the dengue larva a conducive atmosphere to breed. He said that dengue virus is a social issue, which can only be controlled through collective efforts. He appealed to the people to keep their houses, streets and localities clean, extend cooperation to anti-dengue staff of district government and, in case of any dengue larva, inform the concerned town administration for its timely eradication.
