Lahore: State of the art Road Safety Institutes meant to train not only the beginners but also polish the skills of professional drivers and enhance their road safety sense are producing amazing results and the performance of these institutes should further be improved said Inspector General NH&MP Zafar Abbas Lak while inspecting the under construction NH&MP Babu Sabu Building Complex.
IG NH&MP Zafar Abbas Lak directed the contracting company to speed up construction of the complex and not to compromise the quality of material. DIG N-5 Central Rai Altaf Hussain briefed IG Motorway Police about the whole project. At this occasion IG NH&MP said that there is dire need to establish Road Safety Institutes (Driver’s Training Institutes) all over Pakistan.
These Institutes are necessary for producing drivers with better sense of traffic rules and bringing discipline on our roads said IG. He further directed that the performance of these institutes should be monitored closely so that maximum desired results may be obtained from them. Later on, IG NH&MP held meeting with senior officials of motorway police to discuss different aspect of under construction Complex. He directed that day to day progress may be obtained and close liaison with the contracting company should be ensured for the timely completion of the building.
