There is no threat of flood in Punjab:DG PDMA Mujahid Sherdil

Lahore: Director General Provincial Disaster Management Authority, Mujahid Sherdil has said that local people have faced difficulty temporarily due to arrival of water in different rivers and hill torrents as a result of monsoon rains.

He said that the baseless news items telecast by electronic media have added the miseries of the people. He said that all the rivers as well as hill torrents are normal. He said that there is no threat of flood in the rivers as the rains are normal. He said that the water of city also flows through hill torrents and changes the situation for temporarily but after some hours the situation becomes normal.
