Tharcoal deposits are a gift of nature for Pakistan:PM Raja Pervaiz Ashraf

PM Raja Pervaiz Ashraf says
Addressing a function during his visit to Thar Coal site in Tharparkar‚ he said huge coal deposits are a great gift of the nature for people of the area and Pakistan s prosperity lies in Thar.

The Prime Minister congratulated Dr. Samar Mubarak Mand and his team for successfully implementing the project and announced one month additional salary for the employees of the project. He said further funds for the project have also been released.

Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah‚ Minister for Information and Broadcasting Qamar Zaman Kaira‚ provincial ministers and parliamentarians and others were also present on the occasion.

Earlier Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf visited the Thar Coal Project in Tharparkar.

Renowned scientist Dr. Samar Mubarak Mand briefed the Prime Minister about the coal gasification project.

Prime Minister Raja Parvaiz Ashraf says the government is exploring each option to enhance power generation.
