CIA Police busted 7 member of dacoit gang

Lahore: CIA Police Model Town has busted notorious Billa dacoit gang involved in motorcycle theft, street crimes and robberies arresting 7-members of this gang alongwith its ringleader besides recovering two motorcycles, four mobile phones and Rs 92,000 cash from their possession.
According to details, CCPO directed DIG investigation Shafiq Gujjar to initiate concrete measures for arresting the trend of motorcycles theft and robberies besides affecting the recovery. A team headed by SP CIA Umer Virk comprising DSP CIA Model Town Malik Daood, SI Ali Subhani, ASI Muhammad Jaffar, Muhammad Hussain and other officials was formed which worked day & night and was able to arrest 7-memebers of Billa dacoit gang.
The arrested accused have disclosed involvement in 11 incidents of street crimes, robberies and motorcycle theft in precincts of PS Ghalib Market, Gulberg, Naseerabad, Faisal Town, Sattokatla, Model Town and PS Khana. Besides two motorcycles and four mobile phones Rs 92,000 cash also been recovered from possession of the arrested accused who include gang’s ringleader Muhammad Ahmed alias Khadam Hussain Billa, Muhammad Imran alias Kashi, Muhammad Farooq alias Farooqi, Asim alias Taisay, Ahmed Sohail alias Sohailo, Qasim and Nazim Hussain.
Addl.IG/CCPO Aslam Tareen has announced cash award and commendation certificates for the police party.
