24 more doctors released from Kot Lakhpat jail

Lahore:At least 24 doctors have been released from Kot Lakhpat jail upon tendering unconditional apology and calling off their strike. Provincial Minister for Law Rana Sana allah said that doctors are very dear to the government and all out efforts will be made for the solution of their problems.

Commenting upon the demonstration of the parents of some young doctors at Liberty today, he said that they should advise their children to pay attention to their responsibilities towards ailing humanity instead of indulging in unjustified strike. He said that the majority of young doctors has been released upon tendering unconditional apology and ending their strike.

He said that the remaining doctors should also return to their duties as the strike of young doctors is not acceptable at all. He said that the whole nation salutes Army doctors for performing duties in civil hospitals. He said that doctors who have been released have given assurance in writing that they would not go on strike and will assume their professional responsibilities.
