Pakistani students visit Manchester Metropolitan University in UK.

london:Pakistani top position holder students, on the study tour of Europe has visited Manchester Metropolitan University in UK.

Miss Susan received the students and conducted them various departments of university. A briefing was also given to the students about the university. Manchester Metropolitan is famous for auto mobile engineering and languages. This university was set up in 1824 for meeting the demand of highly educated manpower and engineers for the textile industry of Manchester. Professor Cain Hurst of the School of Engineering of the university apprised the students of engineering department. Pakistani position holder students also visited the language department of the university and got information about different languages being taught there. The students also asked questions from the teachers regarding different study programs and research work in the university.

Later, British Muslim Heritage Center arranged a reception in honour of the visiting students. Former Lord Mayor Manchester Afzal Khan, Consul General of Pakistan Ehsanullah, Lord Nazir Ahmad, Member Parliament Yasmin Qureshi, Tony Lloyd, Sajjad Karim and Chariman British Muslim Heritage Center Nasar Mehmood also addressed the function. Later, souvenirs were also given to Pakistani position holder students.
