SI pays price for inquiring N-League MPA

Lahore:DIG Operations suspended a sub-inspector on ‘charges’ of asking a PML-N MPA about a suspected car.
According to Mughalpura Police they received an application from localresident Irfan that his car had been stolen. He also claimed that his car was parked at the outhouse of PML-N MPA Allah Rakha.

According to them, when police under the supervision of Sub-Inspector Khalid Pervaiz reached the outhouse of the MPA along with the complainant and asked him about the car, he replied that the complainant had sold the car to him.

Reportedly, gunmen of the MPA badly thrashed the complainant in front of the police and Allah Rakha also phoned the Lahore DIG to complain against the sub-inspector. On this, the DIG suspended Sub-Inspector Khalid Pervaiz and ordered a departmental inquiry against him.
