DCO orders to improve quality of commodities

Lahore:District Coordination Officer Lahore, Noor ul Amin Mengal has paid surprise visit of Begumkot Sunday bazaar today and directed the Sunday bazaar administration to further improve the arrangements of the Sunday bazaar and to provide maximum facilities to people who visit the bazaar. DCO Lahore checked the quality of fruits, vegetables and others food items in bazaar.DCO Lahore expressed his satisfaction over the arrangements of cleanliness and quality of vegetables and fruits and appreciated the efforts of Sunday bazaar administration. He while inspecting the different stalls, inquired from the consumers about the standard and prices of the items. DCO, Lahore directed the officers to pay special attention on the quality of fruits and vegetables in Sunday bazaar. Noor ul Amin Mengal said that substandard food items will not be allowed to sell in Sunday bazaars on the name of cheapest things.

Meanwhile DCO also visited Model bazaar Sabzazar and inspected the facilities being provided to the stall holders. He directed the administration of model bazaar to provide maximum facilities to stall holders and to run the model bazaar successfully so that people could be attracted. He said that model bazaar should be looked model and we are establishing more model bazaars in various areas so that cheap and quality essential items could be provided to people on their door steps.
