Makhdum will be next Prime Minister

Islamabad:A total of five candidates including the consensus candidate Makhdoom Shahbuddin submitted the nomination papers for contesting the coveted slot of Prime Minister of Pakistan, the election will be held on Friday at Parliament House.The candidates are including Former Textile Minister Makhdoom Shahabuddin. Raja Pervaiz Ashraf will be the covering candidate of Makhdoom Shahbuddin.Former Minister for Information and broadcasting Qamar Zaman Kaira of Pakistan Peoples Party has also filed his nomination papers. Thursday was the last day for filing nomination papers. Besides ruling coalition, veteran Politician Maulana Fazal ur Rehman, of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, Sardar Mehtab Abbasi of Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) have also filed nomination papers to contest for Premiership of the country.Speaker National Assembly Dr Fehmida Mirza will scrutinize the nomination papers. Election will be held on Friday.President Asif Ali Zardari has already summoned the session of National Assembly on Friday afternoon.

The Ruling Party announced his candidates after long discussion with allied parties who gave authority to President Asif Ali Zardari to make decision for next prime minister. Sources revealed that Co-Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party offered PML-Q to nominate his candidate for premiership but the Party President Chaudary Shujaaat Hussain did not accept this offer and thanked the President for his generous offer .Ch Shujaaat Hussain was of the view that PPP as a big party in the parliament and in coalition has the right to give the next prime minister and they will support his candidate.

On the other hand Pakistan Muslim League –N is convincing aggressively for his candidate success but yet to succeed in getting support from any other opposition party.JuI – F replied the PML-N delegation that if they support Mulana Fazal-ur-Rehman as Prime Minister Candidate than they would have no objection to start new political journey.
No party has clear majority in national assembly so premiership is quit open for every candidate but seems that Makhdum Shahab uddin would easily become prime minister with the help of allied parties.
