National Management Course Participants meets Senior Advisor to CM

Lahore:Participants of 96 Senior Management Course Of National School Of Public Policy Called on Senior Advisor to Chief Minister and Senator Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa at 90-SQ, here today. The delegation was led by Dean of National School of Public Policy Naeem Aslam. The delegation included 61 senior officers of bureaucracy. Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa informed the delegation about the reforms introduced by Punjab government during the last four years in education, health, communication, livestock, agriculture, energy production, industries and other sectors. He said that education has been given top priority by the provincial government and Daanish Schools are being set up for providing quality education to the poor children. Similarly education endowment fund has been set up to meet the educational expenditures of deserving but intelligent students. Distribution of laptops to the position holders and setting up of PITU have been brought made accessible to the, he added.

He said that women and minorities have been brought into national mainstream and shelterless people have been provided houses through Aashiyana scheme. He said that a handsome amount has been allocated for the public welfare oriented projects in the current budget. He said that the project of drip irrigation is being started at the cost of Rs.32 billion for the welfare of farmers while necessary steps are being taken to meet food and other necessities trough livestock. He said that the provincial government is taking solid measures to enhance power so that common man could be relieved from loadshedding.
