Jobs to be provide to blind youths:Shahbaz Sharif

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that help and assistance to the poor and destitute persons is the top priority of the provincial government and all out efforts are being made for socio-economic uplift and self- reliance of indigent and needy persons. He said that setting up of a welfare society is the mission of the government and special emphasis has been laid in the new budget to the betterment of down-trodden segments of the society.
He expressed these views while talking to needy and disabled persons in his tent office at Minar-e-Pakistan. The Chief Minister gave a patient and sympathetic hearing to the problems of the people and issued on the spot orders for their solution. Member National Assembly Pervaiz Malik was also present. Speaking on the occasion the Chief Minister assured that no effort will be spared in mitigating the sufferings of the poor and disabled persons. He said that through Danish schools, Punjab Educational Endowment Fund, Punjab Education Foundation, Yellow Cab Scheme and other welfare projects, the government has provided an opportunity to the poor and deserving persons to compete with the others.
The Chief Minister also issued instructions to provide job to blind youths besides provision of financial assistance to other deserving persons.
