Pakistani rulers continuing to suck the blood of masses : Siraj ul Haq

Lahore : Ameer Jamaat e Islami Pakistan Senator Sirajul Haq
has said that at a time when the governments all over the world
were providing relief to their masses caught in the coronavirus,
the Pakistani rulers were continuing to suck the blood of their
people.
Talking to the media men at Swabi on Saturday, he said that
the POL prices in the global market had registered a historic fall
but the government had not provided due relief to the consumers
and had increased levy on POL by three hundred per cent.

Siraj ul Haq suggested to the federation and the provinces to
fight corona instead of fighting between each other. He said that according to official statement, more than one million citizens were below the poverty line but no solid steps were being taken to overcome poverty.

The JI chief said that people were dying of hunger, children
remained without education and health facilities, qualified youth
had no jobs. He said the Punjab government had not spent half
of its development budget. He further said that flour mills owners
were about to create another atta crisis but the rulers had shut
their eyes.

The JI chief said that the government could not provide any
relief to the masses even during Ramazan. On the other hand,
the prices of fruit, vegetables had doubled.
