Lahore : After the moon sighting announcement made by Mufti Shahabuddin Popalzai ,KPK government has announced to celebrate Eid ul Fitr today on Tuesday.
This will be happened first time in the history of Pakistan that any province has announced to celebrate Eid ul Fitr separately without the announcement of federal govt in wake of central Roet Committee decision.
Now people lived in KPK will celebrate Eid with Saudi Arabia and rest of Pakistan will celebrate EID on Wednesday if central Roet Committee led by Mufti Muneeb announce moon sighting .provincial minister Shokat Yosafzai has said that CM KPK Mehmood Khan and governor Shah Farman will offer Eid prayer in Peshawar today.
Earlier ; KPK minister for information Shokat Yosafzai demanded that Mufti Shahab Popalzai should be made head of Roet Committee in place of Mufti Munib for one Eid in Pakistan whereas federal minister Fawad Ch claimed that scientifically Shawal Moon birth has happened and the moon could be seen in the evening on Wednesday , 4th of June .
