LGH’s 5 Lady Doctors awarded with Gold Medals

Lahore : New tradition has been set at Ameer Uddin Medical College of Lahore General Hospital where College Professors have awarded 7 Gold Medals to 5 Lady Doctors from their own pocket. These Gold Medals will be in the names of College Professors and these would help a lot in strengthening teacher student’s relations.

According to the details, Dr. Amna Sami for Gynae awarded Prof. Dr. Mohammad Tayyab Gold Medal while Dr. Warda Ashfaq in Medicine given Prof. Ghias un Nabi Tayyab Gold Medal. Similarly, Dr. Rida-ul-Jannat for Surgery was awarded with Prof. Farooq Afzal Gold Medal and Dr. Maham Irshad was given Gold Medal in Eye & ENT Gold Medal by Prof. Mohammad Moin and Prof. Najam ul Hasnain. While Dr. Sana Rehman was given Gold Medal in ENT and periodic by Prof. Agha Shabeer Ali and Prof. Najam ul Hasnain.

Talking in this regard, Principal Post Graduate Medical Institute Prof. Dr. Mohammad Tayyab said that education is such an asset which cannot be stolen or snatch and it is the responsibility of every medical student to keep updated.

He appreciated the performance of the lady doctors as medical students for which they have been awarded gold medals. Students and their parents also expressed joy and happiness and expressed their heartiest gratitude for Professors who encouraged them and awarded with gold medals. They affirmed that now they would work with more zeal and fervor.
