Lahore High Court suspends suspension notification of 36 DSPs

Lahore : Mr justice Ameer Bhatti has suspended the notification of suspension of 36 DSPs . The court expressed displeasure upon suspension of 36 DSPs without any reason , how can IGP suspend officers with out any reason ? The court questioned.

AIG legal Rana Latif briefed the court that IGP suspended DSPs on poor performance and issued charge sheet to the concerned officers.

DSP Naeem Sindhu had filed petition praying that IGP Punjab Amjad Javaid Saleemi suspended 36 DSPs without any reason just a few days before of Departmental Promotion Committee meeting so their names could not be discussed for promotion.

The DPC meeting scheduled to be held on 30th of March.
