Pakistani students to study in Russia : Consulate General Adnrey G. Fesyun

Lahore : Punjab University Institute of Languages and Linguistics has organized one-day seminar in collaboration with Russian Center for Science & Culture at Al-Raazi Hall, New Campus.

Dean Faculty of Oriental Learning Prof. Dr. Saleem Mazhar, Incharge ILL Ashok Kumar Khatri, Adnrey G. Fesyun, Consul Director, Consulate General of the Russian Federation Russian Center for Science and Culture, Dean Faculty of Arts & Humanities Prof Dr Iqbal Chawla, Dr. Ekterina, faculty members and a large number of students participated in the event.

The purpose of this seminar was to provide opportunities for the Pakistani students to study in Russia.

Addressing the seminar, Dr. Saleem Mazhar said that it was the need of the hour to have relationship with top ranked universities of Russia in order to train Pakistani students in various fields of science like coal sciences, medical sciences, projects about gas, oil and petroleum, energy, national and international languages, physics and nuclear physics etc.

Mr. Adnrey thanked PU administration for the great hospitality and honor and shared his views about the importance of students scholarship program and also faculty exchange program which would enhance the good cultural and scientific relationship between Russian and Pakistan.

Mr. Ashok Kumar Khatri shared his views in which he said that for us and Russians, language was the main barrier which could be removed by learning Russian and Pakistani languages.

Mr. Zia ud Din Siddiqui delivered the power point presentation regarding how to avail the opportunity of having scholarships in Russian universities.
