DIG Investigation removes incharge Manawan centre on misuse of powers

Lahore : DIG Investigation Dr Inaam has removed incharge Manawan centre Farrukh Riaz on misuse of powers and gave punishments to other cops.

The Manawan Investigation police had forcibly abducted manager of “Careem “online taxi service from defence 3 weeks before upon not providing info verbal orders and demanding in written request to the investigation officer which led his arrest and torture.

The mobile clip of Manawan police action become viral and Geo News telecast the news which gave a wake call to Punjab CM Usman Buzdar who ordered inquiry of the matter.

SP Cantt Shahnawaz held inquiry and recommended sentences for the raiding party.
