JAC stood like a wall against forced terminations of media workers

Lahore : Joint Action Committee has stood like a wall against forced terminations of media workers , compelling Jang administrations to revisit its decision after the journalist community locked the main gate of daily Jang , Lahore.

Mir Shakeel ur Rehman, the owner of Jang Group has to bow down first time and took time of 2 days to compensate the workers of Daily Waqt and Daily Inqalab and assured no more termination would be made . 

The JAC agreed with Jang Administration and ended up their sit in and opened the gate of Daily Jang after 3 hours long protest.

Today , a protest rally was held from Lahore Press Club to Daily Jang Office in which hundreds of media workers participated. The charged protestors shouted slogans in favour of their demands and used foul language for the owners of media houses including Mir Shakeel ur Rehman , Mir Ibrahim , Mian Amir Mehmood , Sarfraz Shah , Rameeza Nizami ,Lakhani and Shami which they might never think of it.

The rally and protest was led by convenir Azam Ch , Arshad Ansari , Naeem Hanif , Rana Azeem , Rehman Bhutta , Zia Ullah Khan Niazi , Shafiq Awan , Shahbaz Mian and others.
