NAB clear Shahbaz Sharif in Clean water corruption case

Lahore : National Accountability Bureau has filed reference in Clean water company corruption case.

The NAB has alleged 20people including former CEO Waseem Ajmal , former convenor Engineer Qamar ul Islam , Khalid Naeem Bukhari , Zohar Ahmad Dogar , Nasir Qadir , Zaheer ud din , Muhammad Ali Sheikh , Saleem Akhtar , Masroor Ahmad , Muhammad Tehseen, Noor ud din , Masood Akhtar , Major (R) Khalid Khan , Col (r) Tahir Maqbool, Major (R) Adnan Aftab Khan , Masood ul Hassan Kazmi , Moeen Ud din , Muhammad Yonas and Waris Malik.

The accused were charged with corruption of Rs 340.58 millions.

NAB has given 39 witnesses names against 20 accused in the reference .

NAB has not cleared the status of former chief minister Shahbaz Sharif in this case , his name was not in the list of accused but at the same NAB did not say any word in his favour.

NAB had summoned Shahbaz Sharif many time in this case , he was also called in the clean water company corruption case but arrested in Ashiyana Housing Scheme.

Now question arises that should NAB say sorry to Shahbaz Sharif on maligning in corruption case without any reason ?

Engineer Qamar ul Islam was also given certificate of clearance in this case but later he was arrested and now declared accused of corruption.
