Fatima Jinnah Medical University started MBBS classes

Lahore : Fatima Jinnah Medical University Lahore has formally started MBBS first professional classes here today. Oath taking ceremony of first year MBBS held, Vice Chancellor Professor Aamir Zaman Khan and former Principal of the then Fatima Jinnah Medical College Professor Majeed Ch. administered the oath.

Pro VC Prof. Shireen Khawar, Registrar Prof Bilquis Shabbir and huge crowd of parents and students and faculty attended the ceremony. “You are all lucky to join this noble profession because this profession holding tradition of saving lives without any personal benefit” said Professor Majeed.

“If I were bestowed with life for 10 times, I will always prefer to become doctor again and again, the person to heal, the person to save lives” he further said.

In his key address Prof Aamir Zaman Khan SB extended his warmest felicitations to the new comers and said “You are all lucky to join historic institute of Fatima Jinnah Medical University which is named after sister of Quid e Azam, Miss Fatima Jinnah”.

“It is high times to pledge with yourself to serve humanity with smile after completing medical education” advised the VC.
