PM orders forensic audit of Evacuee Trust Property Board

Lahore : Prime Minister Imran Khan Wednesday ordered the forensic audit of the Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB), expressing serious concerns over the massive irregularities and mismanagement committed in the past.

Chairing a meeting on the ETPB affairs, the prime minister also decided to form a special task force to reconstitute the Board to ensure the constructive use of its assets and introduce an effective management.

During the meeting, also attended by Federal Religious Affairs Minister Nurul Haq Qadri, Secretary of the ministry Muhammad Mushtaq Ahmed, ETPB Secretary Muhammad Tariq and senior officials, the prime minister was given a detailed briefing on the Board’s affairs.

The prime minister directed the Secretary Religious Affairs to present in detail all the matters pertaining to the Board.
