Faisalabad police booked Najam Sethi and Munib Farooq on Apis ki baat

Lahore : Sadr Faisalabad police has booked Mir Shakil ur Rehman , former Chairman PEMRA Absar Alam , senior journalist Najam Sethi and Munib Farooq under treason case .

The FIR was lodged on the statement of a local lawyer Naqash Liaqat who stated that Najam Sethi revealed about conspiracy theory in the programme of Apis ki baat hosted by Munib Farooq in January 2017. Army, judiciary and government was maligned in the programme. Chairman PEMRA Absar Alam failed to perform his duties rightfully in this regard. Owner of Geo was equally responsible for such a derogatory programme.
