Molana Asif Ashraf Jalalali barred to contest elections

Lahore : The Election Tribunal has rejected the nomination papers of Tehrek Labbiak leader Molana Asif Ashraf Jalali by accepting the objections levelled upon him.

He was contesting from NA 81 Gujranwala .

The PML-N covering candidate Atif Farid Rizvi challenged his papers stating that he has not submitted tax returns and there was no signature of proposer and seconder on the papers.

The tribunal judge justice Shahbaz Rizvi admitted the objections and suspended the decision of Returning Officer to permit him for contesting elections.
