LHC sentenced PML-N former MNA Sheikh Waseem on contempt of court

Lahore : PML-N former MNA from Kasur Sheikh Waseem and 3 others were sentenced in contempt of court case. The 3 members bench led by Justice Mazahir Ali Naqvi announced the reserved verdict in this case punishing them one month prison and one lakh fine.

The accused were arrested as they came out if the court.

Former MNA Sheikh Waseem and others have led the rally in kasur in which foul language was used against the Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Saqib Nisar and other judges.

The court accepted the apology of former MPA Naeem Safdar and former chairman Haji Ayaz.

Former MNA Sheikh Waseem Is also disqualified for 5 years and could take part in elections.
