Election Tribunal outs former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi from elections 2018

Lahore : The Former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has been disallowed to contest elections from NA -57 Murree. The ET judge justice Ibad ur Rehman Lodhi admitted all the objections of the applicant and rejected the nomination papers of the former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.

He was quite critical upon ECP on its decisions which favours the opponents and PTI especially .

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said we are being engaged at ECP and can not start election campaign.

There are certain things in the world which decide the eligibility of the candidate but here in Pakistan new traditions are being set which are against the democratic norms. He vowed to challenged the decision in Islamabad High Court.

PTI spokesman Fawad Ahmad Ch has also disqualified by the Eelection Tribunal.

He wanted to contest elections from NA – 67 .

The judge disqualified him under article 62 F 1 terming him not Sadiq and Amin. After the court verdict , he could take part in elections from any constituency till the superior court suspends the decision of Appealet Court.

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that he will challenge the decision in superior court.
