Motorway police have to face the endeavor of CPEC : AIG Khalid Mehmood

Lahore: The Additional Inspector General NH&MP Khalid Mahmood said in future motorway police have to face the endeavor of CPEC and other challenges. Better motivated and dedicated motorway police are the need of time.

Suggestions and working plan is under consider to increase the amenities and facilities of Motorway Police. Monthly rest of motorway police would also be enhanced along with special pay package and others benefits for officials and officers in order to enhance the better professional working of department.

Motorway Police is public friendly, service-oriented force and delivery of prompt assistance to the distressed road users is the trademark of the department and it is only big distinction with other police organizations. The well-mannered conduct with commuters, courtesy and indiscriminate enforcement of law must be ensured to enhance the image of NH&MP.

He was addressing to officers in Police Ajlase Aam ( Police Darbar )at Beat 13 of central zone. DIG Ahmad Arslan Malik , SSP Kamran Adil  and police officials  were also present on the occasion.Additional Inspector General NH&MP Khalid Mahmood said that NH&MP is service oriented force and provision of prompt help to the distressed road users is the hallmark of the department.

He ordered to ensure equal application of law irrespective of one’s status. The well-mannered conduct with commuters, courtesy and indiscriminate enforcement of law must be ensured to enhance the image of NH&MP. He laid stress on quick and timely response to Helpline 130 Call. It is the prime responsibility of NH&MP in providing safe and secure travelling to the road users, he added.

Additional IG Khalid Mahmood said this is the only department of spectacular traditions upon which every Pakistani is proud and it is our prime responsibility to conserve the stateliness and honor of this department at every cost and with all means. He said we will further raise the faith and confidence of the people which is the hall mark of this organization.

Additional IG appreciated the contribution of Shuhadas for NH&MP and said that their contributions in the success of NH&MP will never be neglected. He also offered Dua for Shudha of Police during the Darbar.

The NH&MP Additional I.G also listened to the problems faced by the officers and issued necessary instructions to redress their grievances.
