Sardar Awais Leghari met Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif

Lahore : Federal Minister for Power Sardar Awais Laghari and Sardar Jamal Laghari called on Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, here today.

On the occasion, the Chief Minister said that PML-N government removed the darkness of load shedding from the country by completing energy projects in a record period of time and added that process of industrial development will be accelerated and job opportunities will be enhanced due to overcoming of energy crisis. He lamented that those who spokes lies day and night enhanced problems of the masses by creating hurdles in energy projects.

The Chief Minister said that development and prosperity of the people of southern Punjab is very dear to him. He pointed out that development projects have been completed in southern Punjab with billions of rupees and the responsibility of development of the region will always be fulfilled. The credit goes to the PML-N government that it has allocated more budget for southern Punjab as compared to its population ratio.

Similarly, metro and speedo buses are providing quality travel facilities to hundreds and thousands of passengers every day in Multan. Similarly, people have been provided honorable travelling facility through speedo buses in Lodhran and Bahawalpur, as well.

On the other side, the village lifestyle has been transformed due to construction of thousands of kilometers long rural roads and due to Rs. 100 billion Kissan Package, farmers have been prospered and agricultural productivity has also been enhanced. Those who talk about backwardness of southern Punjab, have had never given any attention to the solution of public problems in their tenure.

Federal Minister Sardar Awais Leghari, on the occasion, said that PML-N government has won the hearts of the people by giving resources worth billions of rupees for the development and prosperity of southern Punjab.
