Straight bullets fired on justice seekers in Kasur : Ch Pervaiz Elahi

Lahore : Pakistan Muslim League senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Pervaiz Elahi has said that people go to the court for seeking justice or the Chief Justice should visit the institutions, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif is abusing the judiciary, in Kasur straight bullets were fired on justice seekers instead of providing justice which has refreshed wounds of Model Town tragedy, now what more can happen with the people of Punjab.

Talking to the media at his residence here today (Wednesday), he described the molestation and murder of innocent Zainab in Kasur highly shameful and condemnable.

He said this is not the first incident of its kind in Kasur, in one year twelve incidents have happened, Shahbaz Sharif and Rana Sanaullah should stop “drama baaziyaan” and should resign forthwith, if those responsible for Model Town tragedy had been arrested and punished then circumstances would not deteriorate so much now.

He said what sort of good governance is this the Law Minister is admitting that the culprit has been identified but why he is not being arrested, Rana Sanaullah is himself an accused, if apprehending the accused is the government work then Rana Sanaullah should firstly behind the bars.

Ch Pervaiz Elahi further said that he former prime minister and his brother are abusing the judiciary, when the Chief Justice visits the institutions he is criticized, this is all well-conceived conspiracy.

He said that the protesters are greatly annoyed, instead of providing justice to them straight bullets were fired on them, if such incidents are to stop in future then the accused of Model Town tragedy should be punished so that in future nobody dares to fire bullet, they are occupying power in Punjab for last ten years, nobody is concerned about the people, people are deprived of health, education and clean water, peace will be restored in the province only with the departure of both these brothers, incidence of crime in Punjab has increased 300 per cent.
