Lahore : Eleventh 4-day Micro Surgery International Training Course concluded at the Auditorium of Jinnah Burn and Reconstructive Unit, Jinnah Hospital, here today.
From 20th to 24th November training and capacity building course was organized with the collaboration of British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, UK.
It was informed by the Medical Superintendent Jinnah Hospital Dr. Sohail Saqlain, here today.
He informed that Executive Director Jinnah Burn Unit Prof. Dr. Moazzam Tarar and Prof. Amraiz Khan conducted the course.
Dr. Sohail Saqlain further informed that Micro Surgery Training Course was attended by local as well as foreign experts including from Bristol University UK and other institutions from Italy and USA.
The foreign experts/surgeons provided technical cooperation in successful holding of International Conference. He informed that during four day training course various workshops and technical sessions were held.
Moreover, hand on training and live surgery episodes were also arrange for the training and sharing knowledge with the participants.
On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Moazzam Tarar, Prof. Amraiz Khan, Prof. Tehseen Riaz and foreign experts including Dr. T. Wright, Dr. Hischam Taha, M.Cherubinio and other senior surgeons delivered lectures and shared their knowledge with the participants of the training conference.
Dr. Sohail Saqlain further said that organizing such international training workshops for the doctors, surgeons with the collaboration of high reputed international medical institutions and universities ample opportunities provide to the experts for sharing their experience and knowledge with their counterparts especially junior surgeons who have to face many challenges in their professional life.
Later, Dr. Sohail Saqlain presented souvenirs to the foreign delegates. Chief Executive Jinnah Burn Unit, Prof. Moazzam Tarar and others were also present on this occasion.
