Lahore : A meeting was held to review the affairs of Tehrik-e-Insaaf Central Punjab in which party Secretary General Jehangir Tareen and President Central Punjab Abdul Aleem Khan discussed a number of issues.
It was decided in principle that matters would be taken for decision from district to district.
Both the leaders exchanged views on the political development of central Punjab and expressed satisfaction that party graph has gone on the upper side.
They also agreed that mistakes would not be repeated of general elections 2013 and distribution of tickets would be made after wide discussion and maximum reconciliation.
In the meeting Central Vice President PTI Shoaib Siddiqi, Zaheer Abbass Khokhar, Khalid Gujjar, Malik Karamat Khokhar and others were present who gave a number of suggestions for strengthening the party.
Talking in this regard, PTI Central Punjab President Abdul Aleem Khan said that two decades long political struggle of Imran Khan is now near to be fruitful.
He said that Nawaz League and People’s Party both looted and came into power one by one for their own motives. He said that the daring decisions of the Courts have given ray of hope to the nation and now in the coming general elections people would never vote for the tested faces.
Abdul Aleem Khan said that with the massive support of the people PTI has become most popular party of Pakistan and politics of Nawaz Sharif has reached to its end.
He said that especially in the districts of Central Punjab comprehensive strategy has been opted to strengthen the party and it would be proved that people are united under the dynamic leadership of Imran Khan.
