Two separate delegations of Kissan Ittehad met CM Punjab

Lahore : Two separate delegations of Khalid Khokhar Group and Ch. Anwar Group of the Kissan Ittehad called on Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif at model Town today. Both the groups paid rich tributes to the Chief Minister for adopting different steps for the welfare of the farmers.

The President of his own faction of Kissan Ittehad, Khalid Khokhar said that our problems have been solved by the Punjab government and added that subsidy on the fertilizers has benefited the farmers. Different steps adopted by the PML-N government have no resemblance in the history of the country, he added. Due to the farmer friendly policies of the government, agriculture sector has been strengthened.

The President of his own faction of Kissan Ittehad, Ch. Anwar termed the steps of the Punjab government, aimed at improving economic conditions of the farmers, as unique and said that farmers are well wishers of the government,. He said that historic Kissan Package has been given and their future generations will be thankful for introducing this package.

Both the groups thanked the Chief Minister for given patient- hearing to their problems and said that Shehbaz Sharif has proved that he is the farmer-friendly Chief Minister. Both the groups gave different proposals for the development of the agriculture sector and the welfare of the farmers.

The Chief Minister assured to them that interest of the farmers is dear to him and their problems will be solved on priority basis.
