Lahore : The conflict started from Lahore High Court Multan Bench has reached to its peak when today lawyers demanding cancellation of arrest warrants of their colleagues ,stormed at Lahore High Court.
The lawyers chanting anti judiciary slogans tried to enter judges gate which was protected by two layers of security,first police and second by rangers.
The rangers were called especially for today in lieu of lawyers protest.
Police used water cannons and tear gas to disperse the protesters who pelted stones in reply and later gave sit in at GPO choke which caused worst mess of the traffic.
Lahore High Court has directed PRO Multan to arrest and present Multan Bar president Sher Zaman and Qaisar Abbas on next hearing.
Chief Justice Lahore High Court justice Mansoor Ali Shah has taken strict notice of lawyers misbehave with Multan Bench judges. The CJ has made Multan Bench ineffective by calling the judges to Lahore and issued Show Cause notices to lawyers in contempt case.
Lahore High Court Bar Association has strongly reacted upon the Show Cause notices and said the court should not use this power and matter should be sent to Bar for any action.
