Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif facing divine wrath : Siraj ul Haq

Lahore : Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq, has said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was facing divine wrath for declaring war against Allah and His Prophet on the issue of interest and he would be packing up very soon.

Addressing a large public meeting at Dir lower on Monday, he urged the Supreme Court to announce the decision of the Panama leaks case at the earliest.

Siraj ul Haq however added that the accountability of the Prime Minister was not enough as the Ehtisab of around 470 people named in the Panama leaks was also essential.

At the meeting, the JI chief stressed upon the government to include Railway line with all other relevant facilities in Malakand area under CPEC and said the CPEC sans rail link would not be acceptable.

Siraj ul Haq said that he had no personal grudge against Nawaz Sharif.  However, he said, that Nawaz Sharif had promised him at the Holy Prophet’s mosque that on coming to power, he would abolish the interest based economic system. But, he said, when the JI challenged the interest system in the Shariat Court, Nawaz Sharif, instead of honouring his word, strongly defended the interest based economy, thus declaring war against Allah and His Prophet. So, how can one be successful in a war against  Allah and  His Prophet, he asked.

Siraj ul Haq said that Allah had provided numerous opportunities to Nawaz Sharif but he had not  availed these and now he would be landing in jail very soon.

He said that corruption was the biggest issue of the country and the nation and now it was a threat to the national security. He said the JI had tried to unite the political parties for a war against  corruption but in vain. However, the Panama Leaks was a God sent opportunity due to which the issue came before the Supreme Court.

The JI chief said that the people of Malakand had offered great sacrifices for the country and the graves of these people could still be found in Sri Nagar.  Therefore, he said, this region should be given all opportunities for development under the CPEC.
