Lahore : Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has approved a grant of Rs 100 million to Ghurki Trust Hospital.
The grant cheque will be handed over to the management of Ghurki Hospital.
Speaking in a meeting regarding grant to trust hospitals ; Prof. Faisal Masood said that government should award a permanent framework for the trust hospitals who are getting funds as grant in aid for the transparent use of the funds and it should be a uniform policy for every hospital.
Kh Salman Rafiq stated that government provides grant in aid to these hospitals for the treatment of poor patients and it would be ensured that these funds are being spent on the same purpose.
He directed that a policy would be prepared with the consultation of the experts and the services of any reputed audit firm may also be hired.
