Lahore : Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has received a notice to appear before the Joint Investigation Team (JIT), tasked by Supreme Court to probe Panama case, on June 17.
The notice was received by the CM House on Tuesday. According to the spokesman Punjab Government Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif will appear before the JIT on 17th of June .
It would be important to mention here that Punjab CM’s brother and the Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif, is already scheduled to appear before the JIT on June 15 (Thursday).
It was earlier reported that the JIT probe would extend to almost the entire Sharif family including the dead.
Shahbaz Sharif’s family was the only exception until now.
Premier’s son Hussain Nawaz has appeared five times before the JIT for interrogation into Sharif family’s financial matters and questions raised in Panama case.
