Shahbaz Sharif attends the budget session of Punjab Assembly

Lahore : Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif attended the budget session of the Punjab Assembly today.

He also met with assembly members belonging to different districts at his chamber.

He asked the Assembly Members to strive for the solution of problems of the people and told that timely completion of development projects along with proper utilization of funds is also their responsibility. Pakistan is our country and striving for its development and prosperity is the collective responsibility. There is no room for chaos or the politics of anarchy in the country and the political elements who obstructed development and prosperity through their negative politics are now fully exposed.

He said that PML-N government will win the next elections because it has served the people selflessly under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and the agenda of public service has been furthered as a sacred mission.

The members of the assembly who called on the Chief Minister included Chaudhry Mohsin Ashraf, Abu Hafs M. Ghausuddin, Rana Munawar Hussain, Sardar Qaisar Abbas Khan Magsi, Chaudhry Shabbir Ahmad Gujjar, Pir Ghulam Farid, M Ashraf Warraich, Bao Akhtar Ali, Ahmed Khan Baloch and others.

A representative delegation of different minority communities led by Provincial Minister for Minorities Affairs & Human Rights Khalil Tahir Sandhu called on the Chief Minister at his chamber and discussed matters of mutual interest.

Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif also took part in the budgetary demands for grant proceedings and participated in voting as well. He remained in the Punjab Assembly for quite some time and left it after the session was prorogued till tomorrow.
