Lahore : Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq, has said that the threats from the government side to the judiciary and the JIT were intolerable and the nation stood by the judiciary at this moment.
Talking to the media outside the parliament house, he said the government effort to harass the court in order to have the decision of its liking would not succeed.
The JI chief said that PML(N) leader Nehal Hashmi was not speaking on his own. He said the government attitude in the Panama leaks case had been aggressive from the very beginning. He said the government had not accepted the Opposition’s ToRs and had announced a commission of its choice which had forced the opposition to the approach the Supreme Court.
He said the government was now giving threats to the court and it seemed that the rulers wanted to make the court decision in the Panama leaks case controversial. He said the government had never accepted the court decisions against it.
Sirajul Haq said that the government failure and incompetence was manifest from the prolonged load shedding during the Ramzan despite all promises.
