Ch Ali Akbar Wains closed his eyes forever

Lahore : Veteran politician and PTI leader Ch Ali Akbar Wains has passed away. Inna Lilahe Wa Inna Elehe Rajeune. He was under treatment at Services Hospital, Lahore where he took his last breath on Tuesday and closed eyes forever.

His funeral prayer was offered in Chak 109/6R and was laid to rest in a local graveyard. His final rituals were attended by a large number of notables, elders and local people.

Ch Ali Akbar Wains was one of the most popular leader of Bahawalnagar who started his politics from Union Council elections. He won Punjab Assembly elections,had won National Assembly elections twice and remained District Nazim,Bahawal Nagar.

He used to be part of PML-N but later joined PML-Q on clan basis and after that joined PTI in March 2013 alongwith his son. He had great regard for Ch Shujaat Hussain and Ch Pervaiz Elahi and never spoke against them till his last breath.

Ali Akbar Wains from NA-191 (Haroonabad, Bahawalnagar), met PTI Chairman Imran Khan at his residence in Zaman Park and joined the party.

Mr Wains’ sons Abduallah Wains and Usman Wains also joined the PTI.
