Siraj ul Haq said that the rulers were naming roads and bridges as the sign of development and prosperity. However, he said, that education was the real test for progress and had always played the major role in the development of the nations.

He said the masses were facing the problems of poverty, unemployment, price spiral and worst energy crisis and the rulers could not fulfill any of heir their election promises during the  last four years.

The JI chief said that a particular class had been plundering public wealth and enhancing their bank balances. He said the country at present was under debt of 73 billion dollars whereas around five billion dollars owned by the Pakistanis were lying in foreign banks. If this huge amount was recovered, free education and health could be provided to the masses,  good jobs could be provided to the jobless and suitable shelter could be given to the poor.

Siraj ul Haq said that the JI was recognized as a corruption free party by different forms and institutions and it alone could be expected to provide a corruption free government to the country.

He said that education was the top priority of the JI and would set up a chain of educational institutions, colleges and universities from Karachi to Khyber.
