The electricity generation from Sahiwal Coal Power Project started

Lahore : The electricity generation from Sahiwal Coal Power Project has been started in a small period of time, . By starting electricity production in a short period of time, has not only broken the world-record, but also that of China.

Punjab chief minister while expressing his joy  on the generation of electricity from Sahiwal Coal Power project , said the speed and quality with which the work was completed on Sahiwal Coal Power Plant has no resemblance in the 70 year history of Pakistan. He disclosed that the Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif will inaugurate 1320 megawatt Sahiwal Coal Power Project this month.

The Chief Minister commended the hard work of Chinese leadership, the high-officials of the Chinese companies working on the project, workers and concerned departments of Punjab government.

Shahbaz Sharif said that this is the first energy project which has been completed on fast-track basis under CPEC, and the work was done on this project with great speed. He said that all CPEC related projects are being completed in a transparent and speedy manner. He said that supercritical boilers have been installed to protect atmosphere and international standards have been followed with regard to protection of environment.

Now the whole nation is watching that the country is moving towards light from darkness due to the development vision of the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, and a new history of hard work, honesty and continued efforts has been written, concluded the Chief Minister.
