It may be mentioned that political leaders and their cronies carry legal and illegal arms and display them in open and public places. The police being under influence of political leaders do not check them. Rather police give these cronies VIP treatment when they visit police stations and DPO office. Police openly side with them and do as they dictate. Because of biased performance of police lawlessness prevails. The victims are made accused whereas the accused are made complainant. People have urged to reform police to do justice. Corruption and intercession in police department should be ended, they demanded.
