Gourmet donated two air-conditioned ambulances to Lahore General Hospital

Lahore : Gourmet has donated two air-conditioned ambulances to Lahore General Hospital for sending dead bodies to the cities of their attendants free of cost. The same philanthropist company would also provide shrouds for the dead bodies to the deserving families.  The company has promised to provide two more such ambulances for LGH in near future.

On the occasion of handing over the ambulances to LGH administration, a special function was held attended by Prof. Ghias un Nabi Tayyab, Principal PGMI and LGH, MS LGH Dr. Ghulam Sabir, General Manger of the donor company Muneer Ahmed and others.

Prof. Tayyab told that the said ambulance service would be available from Lahore to all parts of Pakistan. He said that Pakistanis are matchless throughout the world regarding donating for poor. He said private ambulance owners are receiving heavy charges for transportation of dead bodies. In this state of affairs, the company has taken a pure masses- friendly step.

The GM of the company Muneer Ahmed said on this occasion that all the expense of wear and tear, fuel and salary of drivers would be borne by the company and the hospital administration would be authorized to provided this free service only to deserving persons.
