Violent protest in Green Town on blasphemy

Lahore : Dozens of people came on roads in the wee hours of Tuesday night demanding death punishment for a youth recently returned from overseas  under the allegations of blasphemy.

Green Town police used anti riots tools to disperse the mob including aerial firing and tear gas till the roads were made clear.

police have started investigation after the arrest of the boy. Tense situation is prevailing in the vicinity even after the arrest of the youth.
