ACE arrest corrupt officials from Punjab

Lahore : Anti-Corruption Establishment Punjab in different raids has arrested SDO, Registry Moharar, Excise Inspector, ASI, senior clerk, Ahlmad, a number of police officials and beneficiaries on account of illegal gratification.

According to details Anti-Corruption Bahawalpur arrested two police officials namely Muhammad Hasham Raza and Muhammad Ubaid Gillani and two private persons Zain-ul-Abideen and Fahim Shahid for providing call data record (CDR) from center established for the purpose at RPO Multan Office to irrelevant persons after taking handsome amount, misusing power and authority as well.

Regional Director Anti-Corruption Bahawalpur revealed that it was a crime of serious nature and the accursed revealed private data record which ended to family feuds.

Anti-Corruption Rawalpindi conducted a trap raid under the supervision of Magistrate Syed Zafar Abbas and arrested Excise Inspector Aamir Maqsood Butt along with an official Tahir Mehmood while taking Rs. 40 thousand as bribe from a local resident Hassan Gull.

On the directions of the Regional Director Anti-Corruption Gujranwala Muhammad Ilyas Gill, Circle Officer Anti-Corruption Aamir Sandhu conducted a trap raid at Municipal Committee Daska under the supervision of Civil Judge Daska Waqas Hashmi and arrested SDO MC Daska Tanvir Warraich when he was taking Rs. 20 thousand as bribe to register a local company.

ACE Anti-Corruption Rana Kaleem Ahmed and Judicial Magistrate Shakeel Vilana in a trap raid arrested senior clerk MC Bahawalpur Sajid for taking Rs. 22 thousand from Ghulam Murtaza, a resident of Lodhran, for preparing a challan for registry.

In Multan, Circle Officer Anti-Corruption Syed Hammad Nabi conducted a trap raid and arrested ASI PS BZ (Bahauddin Zakariya) Mushtaq Ahmed red handed while taking Rs. 20 thousand from complainant Samar Abbas for discharging a case against him. Circle Officer Anti-Corruption Faisalabad Zaigham Khalil arrested Rao Abid, Ahlmad on the complaint of Special Judge Anti-Corruption Faisalabad Khalid Mehmood for misplacement of inquiry files.

Assistant Director Anti-Corruption Sheikhupura Ch. Maqbool Ahmed arrested Registry Moharar Gulshan Bashir for taking Rs. 20 thousand as bribe for registry while Anti-Corruption Kasur arrested a private person Ghazanfar Latif for impersonating fake female owner of a property during registry process.
