“Health by Education” is approved for syllabus

Lahore : Punjab Textbook Board has accorded approval to a book written by Dr Salman Kazmi and his team to include in the syllabus ,that describes how to prevent from diseases.

The decision was taken in a meeting chaired by Gen (R) Akram chairman punjab curriculum authority.

The meeting was attended by MD PTCB , Director manuscript PCTB and Dr Salman Kazmi Mayo Hospital Lahore to finalize implementation plan for introducing a book in curriculum of Public schools on infectious diseases like dengue, polio, measles etc.

Following two decisions were taken :

1 . Various chapters of book will be included in various classes from 5 to 10th from year 2018-19 as this year books are already printed.

2. The book will be included in E learning initiative of Punjab government for year 17-18 to ensure Students benefit from it from this year as well.
